Help! Clean Elections Candidate in Arizona needs $$$small donors!
My DH Jim Larson is the Democratic candidate for the State Senate in District 6 Arizona. He is the only Dem running in our district. He still needs seed money. He can take any amount up to a max of $120 per person from anyone, anywhere, who is eligible to register to vote! For anyone who lives in District 6, Arizona, we still need those five dollar contributions to get our clean elections funding . Both $5 dollar contribution forms for the D6ers and seed money forms are available on our website www.JimLarson2006.com . Please help. We can only take seed money and $5(Only D6 residents can give fives)through August 20th! And we have to spend it before the primary. We do not have an primary opponent but we need to build name recognition so we need the seed money! We seem to have a lot of Republican support as the Republican candidates are RWers and I think people are sick of them. The moderates have no one to vote for. Anything anyone can do would be appreciated. With your help we can turn this district blue and give our wonderful Democratic Governor Janet Napolitano a voice in the Senate she can count on!

1. Do I get a bumper sticker?

But it looks like only donations from Arizonans count.

I am running as a Clean Elections candidate, which means I do not accept special interest money. Instead, I rely on small contributions of $5 each from Arizonans in order to qualify for funding of my campaign. Please check the Contribute page if you are interested in helping us with our modest fund-raising needs. Volunteer help is also welcomed.

I'll forward this to my cousin in Arizona.

4. Not in Dist. 6 so I can only help with a kick and a few $.
Looking at my choices where I live is nearly enough to make me not vote. Very depressing, not one progressive candidate in the lot, just various flavors of self-serving hacks. I hate this place.

6. Maybe others in districts not being contested can kick in to those who can
use the added help.

7. Certainly, and I do/will. It's just the bizarre law here about the $5
donations can only come in that denomination from voters within the district.

8. Those fives are the only ones that count for getting the funding because
they must come from residents of the district. Actually that is a good thing because residents then feel an investment. But anyone else can send anything up to a MAX of $120. That is called seed money and can only be accepted and spent before the primary. That is why there is an Aug.20th cut off. The same thing for fives. If we don't collect the right amount. In this case 260, we havwe to return all the fives and seed money if not spent and will not get funding. So if anyone knows anyone in District 6, Phoenix Anthem and New River, Get us those fives. Anyone else from anywhere in the nation, or the world, provided they are eligable to vote can send seed money!

attack the GOP candidate.

Or challenge people. Try, if you REALLY believe in Clean Elections support candidates who do.

And then simplify the message even more.

12. Took your advice.
Check out the AZ Forum. Is that better? I am so aggravated with my District. I know it is hot but this is critical!
