There's not much in the original article, since it's a TV story, so forgive the brevity...

Governor To Attend Movie About Global Warming

Maine Governor John Baldacci plans to attend a screening Friday night of the movie "An Inconvenient Truth." He will be joined local legislators and citizens at the screening in Bangor.

Which begs the question... how many of your elected Representatives - - state, local and national - - have seen "An Inconvenient Truth"? How many of your local Dem party groups have organized groups to go see the film?

1. Here in Maine there are several screenings and Congressman Allen...
has said at town hall meetings that it is the duty of every Democrat to see this film and see the truth with their own eyes, then go out and spread the word. He has gone to one of Gore's live presentations and said it blew him away.

Quite a few Maine legislators will be attending screenings. The one in Portland is tonight, and will be attended by at least two state legislators and will feature a presentation by Beth Nagursky, Maine Director of Energy Independence and Security.

2. You make a VERY good point. I'm going to my state's forum and find out
if any of our Democratic reprasentatives are attending. We just elected a Democratic Mayor, and I will be interested to see if she sees it.
