Six liberals and a Soros
Edited on Wed Jun-28-06 02:24 PM by cmd
Bob Ney, the embattled Ohio Republican congressman whose ties to rogue lobbyist Jack Abramoff make him vulnerable in November, blames liberals in the media and in Washington for his worsening image problem.

Like a child who’s discovered a new word, Ney refers to his critics as liberals six times in his latest fund-raising letter. And just in case his supporters are wavering, Ney mentions the boogeyman: billionaire and Democratic supporter George Soros.

First referring to his Democratic opponent, he writes:

Zack Space and the liberal establishment in Washington, DC are counting on you. They are counting on you to believe their propaganda and lies in the national media, which will make it easier for them to win in November.

I know better, though. I know you care about the future of our great country. You aren't going to stand on the sidelines and let Nancy Pelosi, George Soros, and the rest of the liberal crew in Washington have their way on November 7th. Because of your deep concern for Ohio principles, I know you will stand with me as we fight to defeat the liberals who are targeting my defeat.

Liberals, liberals, liberals, liberals, liberals, liberals. Well, Bob, I'm a liberal and I have nothing to do with your image. Look in the mirror. I would have a lobster red face too if I had scammed the Tigua tribe like you did. You took a trip on tribe money to play golf in Scotland, got a bad sunburn, won a bundle of money in London on your way home and posed for a picture with two gentlemen who trusted you to speak on their behalf. What you knew, and they didn't know, was that the legislation to help them was DOA. Take another look in the mirror. Liberals have nothing to do with your image. You have tarnished it all by yourself.

1. I wish Soros would give Ned Lamont a bit of a $$$-infusion
to help him grind Joementum into the ground.

2. Soros hasn't given a cent to Zack Space
That story is a figment of Bob Ney's imagination.

I like that line. Well written.

Yeah. I think when these RWers don't have any other arguments on which to fall, they just trot out the lib'ral bashing. It's probably their most effective weapon. But I think that weapon is beginning to weaken as the truth about the unamerican RWers is coming out for everyone to see.
