Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean confirmed yesterday that he will attend the Jefferson Jackson Day dinner Feb. 7 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center.

Dean will join Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, North Carolina Sen. John Edwards and Gen. Wesley Clark, who previously agreed to speak at the dinner, just three days before Virginia's Feb. 10 Democratic presidential primary.

The Feb. 10 Democratic primary is open to all registered voters.

Locally, the Stafford County Democratic Committee will host a presidential candidate information forum Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m at the John Porter Memorial Library. Campaign representatives will speak and answer questions. Information about the forum is available online at: stafforddemocrats.org.
