Oklahoma County Results

The results from most of the counties have a 6% (or less) delta between Clark and Edwards.

Some counties, however, have a huge delta...

Atoka 24% for Clark, 48% for Edwards == 24 point difference
Bryan 22% for Clark, 55% for Edwards == 33 point difference
Choctaw 19% for Clark, 48% for Edwards == 29 point difference

Sometimes Clark came out on top by a wide margin...

Comanche 15% for Edwards, 45% for Clark == 30 point difference

Is this strange? Or does it reflect which areas the candidates visited or had regional appeal?

Just curious.

1. Those three counties are in the "Little Dixie" part of the state

and Edwards would have greater appeal to those people. It's a rural and relatively poor part of the state.

2. Comanche is where Fort SIll is.....huge army base

3. Fort Sill with it's active, and Lawton with it's many retired military

are located in Comanche county!
