11. I originally expected

Bush to plant some WMDs in Iraq somehow and forge some French labels and pass it off as proof. I thought this would happen a while ago, but it's too late for them to BS about this issue.

Osama will be found, I'll bet. Bush's ratings will skyrocket; we'll lose heavily in Congress making it easier for the Repubs to pass laws to make it harder for us to win elections. America will basically become a one-party state.

But I'm a pessimist.

and dilute the democratic nominee's press attention. The Fox, MSNBC & CNN would lead with it every night.

The Dem nominee would be either defending or distancing himself from Clinton, neither would be good moves

it would limit Bill's effectiveness to support the nominee
it would drudge up lots of bad Clinton memories for some people
Clinton=Democrats

it would also be effective to try and damage and/or drag Hillary into the fray.

of course it would be totally trumped up, but the they only need a month of coverage
