Clark Supporters Check in please,
Hey, I'm getting out of the media email writing business. Any one here up for the Job?

Please PM me and I will forward you all the email addys I have for the media.

I would love to pass them along. I have a new and updated list.

The new movement is respectability and being kind and kuddly to the media. I can't do it cuz I'm way to angry. Maybe one of you can take over and take it into the end zone for me.

I'm a very exausted and furious and I don't have the temprament to do things the way they need to be done.

So PLEASE PM ME and I'll send you the list of emaill addys. You can head the movement. In a previous post it was mentioned that our tone is not helping Clark. The media don't like our angry tone and may use it against him.

I don't want to hurt Clark's campaign so I'm willing to hand it over so we can get back on track.
Thanks

5. xultar...
I'd love to write emails to the media, but I have a dissertation to write. I'm working as hard as I can for Clark, but I have to know my boundaries.

You have been an amazing example of what a grasroots supporter can do. You have my deepest respect.

8. It's easy to get mad, but
the media isn't really all that hard to figure out. They get behind who they think the winner is. Not too long ago, it was Dean. It's a chicken and egg thing, being as the more you win, the more they get behind you - so the more you win. It's not just media nature, it's human nature. Clark has gotten more air time today than he has in a long time. The more he wins, the more he'll get. (Remember Clinton only won three of the first 14 races. So, don't get discouraged just yet.)

You have to win, or bleed to get on the news. It's simple. Frustrating, but simple.

12. are there any grassroots sites set up to take paypal?
because I'd be willing to donate some cash for calls. Living abroad puts the calls way out of the budget, plus if they have caller ID it's usually says unknown name, unknown number or just anonymous.

16. Hmmm...
If you're a US citizen that's another possibility to ponder, but... Have you checked this page:
https://secure.clark04.com/

It lists an e-mail address that you can use, if you run into problems (i.e., the "state" thing could be extended to include "other/abroad" or somesuch.)

13. Right here
Xultar, you're doing an excellent job - take a break for a day if you need it, just don't get nabbed by the media crackwhoresrace, and/or get on eBlocks for a bit of alternate reality therapy (see if you can get local numbers to call from the local Clark team if long distance won't work for you) Talking with "real" people is ointment for your soul - it keeps me focused and very much motivated for the General.

I'm up to my eyeballs already, so I can't take more writing onto my plate...

19. I'm here and
would love the email addresses.

It took me forever to find abc.com's today when I wanted to draw their attention to a changing picture which changed three times--to include Kerry, Edwards, and a picture of people voting. The story was about last night's results. Why wasn't Clark pictured? I just checked the page, and it's changed, but on the page with the story about Kerry's rivals in hot pursuit, they do picture our guy. Read the caption at the bottom if you don't recognize where he is.

http://abcnews.go.com/wire/Politics/ap20040204_1115.html

I will try to be very positive and tactful in all my emails.

Thanks for all you do, Xultar!
