Lieberman on C-SPAN2 Opposing Both Levin/ Kerry-Feingold Amendments
Right now.

He's following up both Feingold and Kerry and speaking on behalf of the republican side.

3. And why did Harry Reid ask for Lieberman to be given time, said he's been
waiting all day to speak. Warner then graciusly offered to let Liberman begin the Republicans response to the debate on the Kerry amendment.

23. I watched Reid help set it up so Joe was on right after Feingold and Kerry
That doesn't seem right.

24. Not that bad a deal
- He went on Republican time
- After Feingold and Kerry who were excellent (in spite of the fact that they each wanted 1 hour speeches and then got 15 minutes each). (or they expected that kind of thing and had short statements written)

Joe was weak. Then Santorum was a loony tune. Boxer is excellent. Her comments on the soldier killed by the Iraqi he was training. This is sounding like Vietnam.

Fear not, at least one will chime in with a cleverly worded piece. And while the piece itself will say little or nothing of value, it will definitely attempt to quash any dissent.

18. I am not a Lieberman supporter, but I support CT dems choice in
who they want to represent them. If Joe wins the nomination, I hope he wins the general election, as he is much more progressive than Schlesinger. If Lamont wins, will give him the same support. I hope Lamont wins, and I think Lieberman has handled this primary like shit, but if Lieberman wins this nomination, you should blame CT dems, not Joe.

16. Rough Transcript of Warner's (R-VA) Afterthoughts on Lieberman Remarks:
"I say to my good friend, I say out of the long times that we work together, I was tasked with drawing up the resolution for the first gulf war and the senator from Connecticut stepped up and joined me. I was again joined by Lieberman, McCain, Bayh for the second gulf war.

Each day you grow in stature as a statesman and as a knowledgeable person guarding the security of our country. I acknowledge the senator for Connecticut for his wisdom."

Santorum (R-PA) also stated he, "would like to associate himself with the remarks from Lieberman."

But no way he'll switch over.

When he's interviewed regarding all the speculation of him switching parties, he get's royally PISSED!!. The veins start sticking out of his neck and starts foaming at the mouth..

He may have fantasies about Georgie boy, but he's not going anywhere.
