We have to let go, no matter who got screwed and who didn't. What's the point of reliving the partisan trauma?

What we must NEVER let of of is how we were screwed by concentrated attacks on our party by those who were dedicated to disenfranchising as many Democrats a possible.

Don't think that tack is over just because it's 2006.

1. those who stole the election must be held accountable
yes, it's been two years but it takes a long time to wind this through the courts, I see
no reason to have confidence in the elections process in Maryland. Even our governor wanted
not to use the Diebold machines in our 2006 election. But it was voted down in our state senate, and our secretary of state is an enthusiastic spokesmen for Diebold. What progress???

2. Sorry, but you can't let election fraud of this magnitude go.....
This is about the most essential and basic of our rights. The tactics used against black voters were a throwback to the segregationist south, minus the white hoods and burning crosses. That can't be just "let go" 'cause it's guaran-damn-teed to happen again.

3. Let Go Of What? That They Stole The Election? That They'll Do It Again?
The attacks have never stopped. We defend against them as best we can.
What more can we do?

4. 2004 trauma...
...was not partisan. It was anti-democratic. Across the board. No ONE got screwed, everyone got screwed. And it will happen again if we don't put a lid on it.

The effort is nothing less than an attempt similar too an Emergency Room operation, in order to save our democratic republic from otherwise certain death.

I agree completely about the rest.
