is Clark declared winner in Oklahoma ?
i noticed that cnn is not calling oklahoma for clark yet. they say they are waiting for certification of the results to do it since it's so close between clark and edwards. are other media doing this also ? i can't think of anything that would turn the results around so why not just call it as they do in other states without certification ? are they going to do a recount or something ?

1. with such a small margin
in the state of OK it automatically kicks off the need to be certified. Clark won. Another example of the media trying to pick the candidates.

13. Well, they obviously didn't learn too much
since they were calling races last night based solely on exit polls..

9. Either that or they realize that with absentee ballots and
a recount that such a small margin could be reversed.

2. Not yet.
they're doing certification recounts. Edwards may win it yet, because it's that close and the turnout was huge.

11. I don't know about YOU...
but the media's treatment of Clark is so similar to Dean, he's starting to look pretty good to me

3. As with most states
There is an automatic recount triggered whenever the vote is within a certain percentage. They will certify the results next week. This is the primaries, so I do not see why they are doing this, but my guess is they are still so scared of calling a state incorrectly. Of course, Clark supporters will just say its an attempt to mute any possible bounce for Clark.

12. that makes a bit more sense
since they will do the recount. i thought they were just waiting for certification but without a recount.

4. Clark has won the initial count.

Edwards would be declared the winner if reversed. Since the vote is so close, it goes to a recount.

7. CNN is not going to Declare because they are BIASED pompus
ASSHOLES

Woodruff, Blitzer, Greenfield, Novak, were all too giddy with excitement to pronounce Clark Dead last night. The bias is so apparent it is making them look silly.

It is too obvious they know that they got slammed by Clark cuz he let it be known that they bowed to the Bush Administration and removed him from his commentary on the Iraq war.

That is what the deal is.

CNN SUX

10. Clark won 15 delegates 2 more than Edwards 3 more than Kerry
That was known last nite but CNN doesn't post delegates counts next to vote totals. It's really misleading and maybe biased.

14. Didn't watch CNN today, but
every site I visited and on ABC tonight they all referred to Clark as the winner of Oklahoma.

15. My understanding is that
AP called it for Clark last night. CNN, of course, becomes too violently ill trying to choke out the words, so they're trying to sweep it under the rug until next week, when they hope nobody will notice.
