George got his wish. He's the decider, ain't he? Didn't he say a dictatorship with him as the dictator would be a great form of governement.

King George, has a nice ring to it, doesn't it, for those with an eye to history...

3. Hmmm. In a sense, I don't disagree completely with this cartoon. If the
"I" is George W. Bush, personally, then, yes, it is ridiculous. However, if the "I" is the POTUS, then I agree with it in some sense. The Congress cannot make laws that are unconstitutional and it is the job of all three branches to support the Constitution.

However, if that is the case, s/he perhaps should be required to veto it. This is, in a sense, akin to a line item veto. When the bill is passed as a veto override, then it seems the POTUS could say which parts s/he thought were unconstitutional.
