Some effective sound bites:
Edited on Sat Jun-17-06 11:37 AM by madmusic
We need sound bites to pound them with. Pound them over and over again. Slogans that are more powerful and persuasive than theirs. Here are some suggestions. Do you have more? Can you improve on these?

The Republicans want you to forget there were no WMDs and Iraq was not responsible for 9/11.

They want you to forget: bin Laden is still plotting.

They want you to forget: even if we must "stay the course," it was the wrong course.

They want you to forget: our soldiers fight for freedom even as they squander it.

They want you to forget: their "Language, a Key Mechanism of Control" manipulates you.

They want you to forget: Bush is an oil man and Cheeny is a Haliburton man.

They want you to forget: they are the elite and fight for the elites.

They want you to forget: how many billions they profit while you struggle at the gas pump.

They want you to forget: that Katrina proves Bush does not make us safer in a catastrophe.

They want you to forget: the fall of the U.S. image around the world while jihadist recruitment surges.

They want you to forget: Bush and Cheeny's families do not serve. The war is not THAT important to them.

They want you to forget: that 2/3 of our own troops think they should come home.

They want you to forget: the new Iraqi government requested a withdrawal time-line.

They want you to forget: They have control of the House, the Senate, the Presidency and most of the Supreme Court. And they still blame liberals!

Is this who you want in control?

Are you better off? It's time for a change. They know it. You know it. Vote it.

They want you to forget the surplus President Clinton left them.

They want you to forget the billions our children will pay the Chinese in interest because of their $8.4 Trillion deficit.

Edit: typo

5. Thanks. Me too.
Republicans B.N. (Before Newt) were people with real values. We could disagree, but they weren't so hypocritical and sanctimonious.

They want you to forget: how they claim to be uniters then radically split the country in half.
