CNN Poll: Majority for timetable and Iraq's independence
CNN Poll conducted by Opinion Research Corporation. June 14-15, 2006. N=1,017 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3 (for all adults).

"Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling the situation in Iraq?"

The last two question show that people don't believe staying in Iraq another year will accomplish anything, and that the Iraqis will eventually solve their own crisis.
