Bill O'Reilly endorses Joe Lieberman (crooks and liars)
O'Reilly: Let me answer my own question. I think George Soros, Peter Lewis, Moveon, all of these people-these far left fringe people want a completely different America--They got the bucks! They got the money! And now with the internet, they got the smear machine. You don't play their game-you don't get any money and you get smeared. Look what's going on with Lieberman in CT. They're after Lieberman, their own Democrats are after him.

Sammon: So people like Lieberman are getting squeezed out and he's thinking about running as an Independent now because there's no room for him in the moderate Democratic Party...

O'Reilly: He shouldn't. He'll win on the Democratic ticket in CT.

2. Is it just me or does Bill call anyone he doesn't like "far left fringe"
Antiwar, proworker, left wing people in this country can't advance at all if anytime we introduce new ideas not already in the political establishment get called far left freaks. Ridiculous!

3. not really an endorsement...

In the primaries, it is not unusual that opponents from the same party will "attack" one another. It happens on both sides. However, there is something to be said for there not being much of a place for moderate voices in the Democratic party. The Republican party is experiencing much the same thing, but they are fighting to reclaim the party from the 'fringe' groups.

On edit: spelling error

like that for eons. Like Rove did in Texas.. they pick a few key Dem leaders and try and flip em...so voters who relate will follow the "leader" to the Repukes.

Tried hard to do that with African Americans..then Katrina happened.

I wonder if Lieberman really believes how Iraq war was fought was really about stability in the region and avoiding WWIII in the middle east.. when really..it seems the WH wants more and more West vs. Islamnofascist conflict. Now it has spread to Somalia. Al Qaeda is making supportive noises of the government in Khartoom.
