Well excuse me but Republicans have been offending Democrats for a VERY long time now. Their arrogance is supreme. Thats what filibusters ARE FOR!!!!!!

If you shut down the process for a good cause, you'll be rewarded. The Patriot Act was wrong because it was unconstitutional. The first duty of ANY public servant is to the Constitution. Kerry (and other DC Democrats) failed that duty!!!!!!

The Democratic Senators could have filibustered for economic triggers on the UPPER CLASS tax cuts. They didn't. They let us down. They were spineless sycophants for Bush unwilling to stand up for the right thing.

They didn't filibuster the Homeland Security department rules. They let tens of thousands of civil servants lose their protections against political reprisals (hmmm, you wonder about CIA intelligence now).

THATS WHY THEY LOST THE MIDTERM ELECTIONS!!!!!

I can understand the No Child Left Behind vote. Congress voted moeny to fund it. President ASS HOLE just didn't allocate the funds. This will be an excellent campaign issue for ANY candidate. Stealing candy from children ... tisk, tisk.

Anyway, I read what Clark's son said, and strangely enough, I think he echoed the sentiments of everyone I've talked to locally. I think it was a good thing to publicly point out how dirty the whole mess is. It's the truth! And it shows that the Clark family is repelled by the slime.

I don't think too many people would take that as a negative. But that's just me....I appreciate people telling it like it is.
