Any polls on Webb and Allen(Virginia Senate race)?
Edited on Tue Jun-13-06 09:58 PM by Tiggeroshii
How is Webb been doing so far? I saw one poll where he was at 30, and another where he was at 37 about two months ago. Anybody have any clue where he is at now?

1. Webb only won the Dem primary today
Relax.

Polls here in VA are meaningless right now.

Easy does it. Jimmy Webb's gonna be a great candidate, and, today, I got to vote for a winner.

Been a long time, ya know?

2. My precinct had nearly 5% turnout.
There wasn't nearly as much campaigning by Webb as there was by the other two candidates. Oh, that's right, Webb is running against Miller and Allen is not in this race. He sure put in enough money for ads that you would think Allen had been running in this primary.

It's late and I have been up since 4:00am working on this election. I will try to give some statistics soon. Northern VA went heavily for Webb and that was what helped him win.

In the meantime, the state will list the grand totals on their website.

4. Up and down, depending on who you ask.
There have been about eight polls done since Webb got into the race, most of them have Webb 10 to 15 points behind Allen. One poll done by Zogby at the end of March has him within 7 points.

5. Webb will give Allen a run for his money! There is hope!
I was very impressed with Webb when he was here in Virginia Beach last Saturday. I think that he stands a chance!
