Gore is throwing it down on Larry King
WH bs on Iraq, global warming, on and on.

Normally, I would rather swallow ground glass than watch King, but this is really good.

5. Two nights in a row!
I have not watched any of the "news" channels for the last year and a half or really almost 2 years except on the rare occasion someone like this is on. I watched last night and now tonight. Yikes, it scares me how much I miss intellegent discussion of the news and issues.

6. 'intelligent discussion' Isn't that the truth!!
I normally catch Lehrer in this time slot, but they were showing the pukefest in Baghdad (the idjit's little talk to the troops and cameras). I just couldn't take it and switched to CNN.

13. The man has brains. It's hard to watch.
Every answer is right on target. His solutions are aimed at the source of the problem, as opposed to bandaging up the symptoms.

What we've been subjected to for the last six years is nothing short of insanity.

We need someone like Gore.

38. Made me want to cry to watch how "Presidential" and knowledgeable
Gore was on King and to think how the Repukes stole the 2000 election and put that idiot in to the WH. Think of how great this country would be if Gore were in the WH. And it is so maddening how the media whores lied and set out to destroy him and continue to do so.

20. I watched it, Gore was great.
And bless him for trying to wake up America about the climate crisis that is Global Warming. I really appreciated how he made the connection between how the Bush Administration used the same type of deliberately distorted and censored "information" to justify going into Iraq as it does to justify not taking Global Warming seriously. I was listening closely to Gore's opinions on Iraq, both on how we were rushed into Iraq ,and about what we need to do about Iraq now. He and Wes Clark seem to be speaking from the same page regarding Iraq. I have a great deal of respect for Al Gore.

25. It's gotta be Gore!
It's great to see the positive response that people are giving his book and movie.

It can only increase the likelihood that he could be persuaded to run again.

But nothing in politics is certain, and now is not the time for Al to be talking about 2008.

He doesn't even have to face that decision for another 12 months - at the soonest.

In case anyone missed Al on Larry King, the transcript is here:

28. It was a great show
I was sorry to see it end. I liked the way Al answered the questions, and deflected the constant aren't you gonna run again, uh, uh? overtone in Larry's questions.

There is something new in Al Gore, and he captured at the end of the interview - when he quoted the saying, that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger. He did suffer, and was able to come out of that period with renewed strength, in part because of who he is, because of Tipper, and because he really did put our country first in December of 2000, and then after 9/11, and certainly with fight against global warming. You have to really admire that about him.

31. Republicans have already labeled Gore as "Chicken Little"
Running around raving like a lunatic that the world is ending. They bring up his book that he wrote many years ago and how all his dire predictions have yet to come to pass and all he wants to do is terrify people. They have it down how to belittle people. The one thing Republicans are experts at is belittling people and hateful behavior.

41. I was sick watching it - such a reminder that he was the president.
After the supreme court annointed B* as president, I turned off the tv. I couldn't watch what was happening to my country. I didn't turn it on again until I got a phone call on 9/11 to see what next horrifying act had occurred in our country. I rarely watch it now, and last night was just a sick reminder of what we lost. I can only hope that he runs again, and that the corporate media doesn't ruin it again for us.
