How did Sharpton earn a Delaware delegate?
He came in sixth. Kerry came in first and got delegates. Candidates finishing 2-5 didn't.

Did Sharpton win a region or something?

1. Sharpton delegate
He probably did win in some particular region.

There was talk he might win a delegate in Missouri, due to his strong showing in the city of St. Louis. But he came in with 14%, just under what he would have needed, I think.
