Arab American News endorses Clark?
Is this correct? Does anyone know how Clark is looking in Michigan?

I plan on delivering Tennessee for Clark if I have to crawl door to door to do it.

4. Not really kidding about the crawling.
I've a bit of a handicap but headquarters said they'll get me a FLAT neighborhood to walk on Saturday so I'm still functional enough to put up signs on Sunday. I've been doing great lately (acupuncture) but still need a forearm crutch if I do a lot of walking.

I filed my delegate candidacy papers yesterday, too.

5. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
Detroit News poll 3%. There are some great campaigners here but we never got to the combustion stage. Due to a number of factors-- limited resources applied here, we've got staff but too little too late. The weird-ass Internet/mail-in/walk-in first time ever done like this caucus has all the campaigns a little off center in how to build turn out. Big tip off: none of the campaigns are advertising in the Detroit market (yet). {Note: Gep ran a ton of ads but who cares about that now.} Almost all the key politicos were Kerry supporters from the git-go. The big rainmakers in the labor movement, the Teamsters and the UAW are sidelined right now (IBT went with Gep and are now holding off on a new endorsement, UAW didn't endorse anybody).

I think we'll do better than 3% but no way under the sun we are going to get 15% (minimum for delegates).

7. I've been doing my eBlock duty
writing letters to Wisconsin voters. And I'm the Clark challenger for my precinct polling location on Saturday. I agree, we aren't done until the General stands down!

:hi:

8. We were told to concentrate on Tenn and Virginia - do we have much of
a chance in Wisc?

9. Wisconsin...
is on the 17th...the week after TN and VA.

I don't know anything about Wisconsin voters or who they'd go for, but there's alot of delegates at stake...so it might be a mistake to bypass it.

Whether we have a shot at it probably depends on who's still in at that point.

But on the other hand..right after TN/VA..Clark could head to Nevada (on the 14th), Idaho, and Utah (both on the 24th) and just rotate campaigning through states. If we went straight to those states after TN then maybe we could get more time in than the other candidates and win all 3 of those, while the others are focusing on Wisc.
