So Lieberman bows out.
As much as I bash him, I am sure in his own way he is a nice guy, but he is just too far to the right of most Democrats. He really should consider joining the Republicans. I am not kidding. The reason his campaign failed is because he is too close to Bush. He wanted Democrats to reach out to Republicans. It's a bit like a rabbit reaching out to a wolf when he is about ready to eat him. Sorry, Joe. You lost before you even started.

1. I don't think Joe should leave the Party.......
Lieberman isn't too far to the right of Clinton, and is respected by his fellow Senators....if he was good enough for Gore, he should be good enough for us.

2. My question is....
Why did Gore every pick him for VP in 2000? When I heard it,it was "Joe who". That's when Gore lost. He could have had Graham you know the FLA guy. Or many others better. I think Joe should stay in CT. They love him. Running is hard, losing is worse. Remember that Joe, because the wind has changed direction. You could have kicked Cheney's ass but you couldn't or wouldn't. No one seems to blame you but I will.

3. Lieberman's a class act and a good Democrat
Most of the "liberal heroes" in the Party wish they had his record and resume.

He's fine right where he is.
