Caldwell now says 3 women killed - no child
I'm watching a rebroadcast now on C-Span2 of earlier presser given to the media by Major General William Caldwell, Multinational Force Iraq Spokesmen. The story is changing now to three women were killed with al-Zarqawi and that there were no children killed.

Then he showed a photo of a room with white walls with a square trimmed hole in the floor where a long list of items were found. The walls were completely intact and very clean. Did anyone else see this and note how could this be a photo from inside a bombed building?

Caldwell said it was unclear whether al-Zarqawi was trying to get away as he writhed around on his stretcher.

When asked if al-Zarqawi had been shot, Caldwell said he had no information that the terror leader had gunshot wounds.

Caldwell said that the photos of the deceased al-Zarqawi were not digitally enhanced before being released to the public, but that the dead man's face was cleaned up in order to remove blood and debris before the photos were taken.

Revising what military officials said Thursday, Caldwell said it now appears there was no child among those killed in the bombing, as was originally reported. He cautioned that some facts were still being sorted out. He said three women and three men, including al-Zarqawi, were killed.

1. story rev. 12.3.1 reminds me of early software programs.
12 prior reports of death
3 revisions of the surrounding facts
1 major set of facts missing.

How did they get his fingerprints originally - to match up with the corpse's
How did they get a DNA sample beforehand - to match up with the corpse's?

The practice of repeatedly altering facts until they receive the best focus-group response.

Where are the right-to-lifers on this?

5. I had not heard of a pregnant woman. Now we have the cabal
aborting babies with bombs. Where are the RTLers?

I hate to think of those women being autopsied too. We have let these people go too far and we have lost all traces of humanity.

7. Why the need to bomb when they knew where exactly he was?
Casey, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, said the American airstrike targeted "an identified, isolated safe house." Four other people, including a woman and a child, were killed with al-Zarqawi and Abu Abdul-Rahman al-Iraqi, the terrorist's spiritual consultant. ...

"We had absolutely no doubt whatsoever that Zarqawi was in the house," Caldwell said.

U.S. and Iraqi intelligence found al-Zarqawi by following al-Iraqi, who was seen going into the house shortly before American jets were ordered into action in the skies 30 miles northeast of Baghdad.

Intelligence officials had identified al-Iraqi several weeks ago with help from "somebody inside the al-Zarqawi network," Caldwell said.

"Through a painstaking intelligence effort, we were able to start tracking him, monitor his movements and establish when he was doing his link-up with al-Zarqawi," he said.

Air Force Lt. Gen. Gary L. North, who commands U.S. and coalition air operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, said al-Zarqawi's meeting in the house gave commanders time to gather exact coordinates and redirect the fighters, which were already in the air on other missions.

9. It's because it's all a fiction
The guy's been dead for 3 years, and they only "killed" him to get good PR and a boost in the bush ratings.

But too many people didn't like, or really buy into, the first story.

First it was bombing him to pieces, but oops and framed picture of his clean unbommbed face. So change it to he lived and died later.

Killed a pregnant woman? Oops, fetus are holy, so change it to three unpregnant women.

Just keeps changing it until they get a story that "rings true" and no oops..
