Are Democrats in Congress mostly in the dark and ignorant of events...?
...that are going on around them? I seriously doubt that few of them are as well-informed as the average DUer? Do they realize what is happening with the Net Neutrality Act? Do they realize that Zarqawi was alive when captured and died after handed over to the Iraqis? Do they know that Iraqis do not like foreigners, especially ones that kill their people?? Are they so caught up in their own little greedy world that they do not have the ability to look out for the interests of the rest of us? I have my doubts...

1. They have one primary interest ,to be re-elected & continue to enjoy
the incredible power, benefits and trappings as a member of our ruling class. This prepares them to really cash in later as a lobbyist or corporate parasite after the voters finally realize the tremendous disconnect between reality and their representative's machinations in supporting the corporate control of the government.

2. and....to think...
how much we trusted them. After Selection 2000 we believed that our Dems just needed some "help." We tried...phoning, faxing, e-mailing, walking the streets for two elections. We donated we signed petitions...we made the "internet grow" with liberal sites that could shore up support for our Dems. We watched C-Span, bought the books, complained to the Media about the unfair reporting.

Only the Black Caucus and a handful of Democrats were worth the time. Only the Black Cause and a handful of Dems. Washington has become a Corporation. There isn't a "government" anymore. Just a giant corporation using our taxpayer dollars to fund their wealth...using lobbyist money from other corporations to increase power and more weath....

I had no idea back in 2000 that the "stolen election" was just the tip of the iceberg. I believed in Government...I believed that there were people who thought service was the most important thing they could do...and that private gain was just the ambition of a few crooks.

3. They're well educated people. They know.
They also know that a lot of the public is ignorant on matters, and they don't want to lose votes. We need to convince the public of our ideas if we want Congress to follow them.
