International Press Review of Clark coverage, lalala...
Well, almost. Two countries! (Sorry, getting tired here.)

In the Netherlands, I checked the Christian/Protestant Trouw, the tabloid-ish and conservative Telegraaf, the economically liberal but socially slightly conservative NRC, and the left-leaning Volkskrant.

Primaries are frontpage news; all candidates are mentioned (with the interesting exception of Volkskrant who apparently didn't think much of Clark and mentions him in the fifth paragraph, in passing almost. It seems pretty clear that they think he's toast. I'm sure their vehement opposition to the intervention in Kosovo in 1999 has nothing whatsoever to do with this... I think I'll send editor-in-chief Pieter Broertjes a virtual spanking for pettiness.

Then, onto Spain. There, I checked conservative ABC, economically liberal but socially a bit conservative El Mundo, left-leaning El País, and also moderately progressive La Vanguardia. Primaries are prominently covered there, too. Hmmm... Again, with the exception of El País, Wes Clark is given fair coverage. What was El País' position on Kosovo in 1999 again? You guessed it; the yanqui imperialist pig-dog Clark must pay!

If anyone's interest in Germany and France... Uh, no sorry, I'm off to bed. I'll dream of OKLAHOMAAAA!!!

Niters. :)

PS: If anyone'd be so kind as to go through the British press, I can't stomach that language at this hour.
