Tracking Today's Primary Results - AL, CA, IA, MS, MT, NJ, NM, SD
Swing State Project has a good discussion on sources for election results other than Secretary of State offices.

And this is Ruy Teixeira's take on today's races:

Eight Elections Today Hold Clues for Mid-terms

Today is D-Day, for Democrats, as well as historically, with 8 elections to watch for some real-world clues about the Democrats' (and the GOP's) prospects coming up in November. These include: Alabama - Primary; California - Primary / Special Election CD 50; Iowa - Primary; Mississippi - Primary; Montana - Primary; New Jersey - Primary / Special Primary CD 13; New Mexico - Primary; South Dakota - Primary. CA 50 is the marquee contest, with the Montana Senate campaign a close second. Look also for an overall "throw the bums out" trend which should bode well for Dems.

6. I don't know.. but did you know his head was stolen twice?
Seriously.. http://eliteleague.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/lol!.gif

Stolen twice and thrown into the Escatawpa River in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

I guess they finally built a cage around it.. so it's safe now.

"Pascagoula, Mississippi - Trent Lott's head recovered
A 50-lb. bronze version of Trent Lott's head has been recovered by police after it was stolen from the lawn of the Trent Lott Middle School, Pascagoula, MS on May 31. An anonymous call the next evening led police to an alley where the slightly scuffed head was recovered. Another Trent head was stolen from the same school in 1997 and thrown into the Escatawpa River. Divers searched for it, but it was never found."

I don't think that it's a lost cause by any means, but I'm predicting that Bilbray edges by. I think that Busby's comment about the "you don't need papers to help us" will turn out the angry white male vote. God I hope that I'm wrong.

These numbers (the 2.42% update) are from Cascade County, which is the Great Falls area. "Results from Yellowstone County:

Recall what Matt Singer wrote about Billings, the population capital of Yellowstone County yesterday:

The Ohio of Montana, Billings is the swing city that often decides the winner of the general election, but it's relatively low primary turnout and its swing status makes it slightly less important in the primary election. County Commissioner Bill Kennedy, the only D on the Commission, is Morrison's treasurer (reportedly, he's got his eye on the Auditor's office is Morrison somehow pulls this thing off). Kennedy and Morrison have been working this town hard and it's been an admitted weak spot for Tester's campaign."

65. Probably useless number: Tester raw vote vs. Burns raw vote as of now
Tester: 30,109 of Dem vote (62.38% of votes for D candidates)

Burns: 26,740 (70.69% R votes for R candidates)

Republican voters seem to be sitting this one out in a big way.

70. To be fair
Even though Burns had a contested primary,it wasn't REALLY contested. It's STILL good to see those numbers though!

68. Chris Bowers at MyDD is calling it for Tester
I now project Tester as the winner in Montana. With 19,000 votes counted, Tester is crushing Morrison 64.8%--32.9%. There were only 55,000 votes cast in the 2002 primary. Morrison barely won his Yellowstone stronghold. I'm calling this one. This is a truly remarkable victory for Montana, and for the netroots. Wow--a huge win.

Debra Bowen of Marina del Rey was leading Deborah Ortiz of Sacramento for secretary of state in early returns, as the two Democratic state senators battled to face incumbent Bruce McPherson in November.
