Brownback highlights financial strain on families from divorce - please
call his office and ask the Senator to add to the amendment something that bans divorce. If he want's to protect marriage, they need to ban divorce, just like Jesus said.

2. Doing away with divorce is the ONLY way to protect and preserve marriage.
Denying others access to marriage is not the way to go.

The problem is, of course, these hypocritical Republicans want it both ways. They want to call themselves conservative Christians, yet still have their extramarital affairs, get divorced, remarry, start new families, etc., without any restraints in place to stop them.

Denying gay people the same benefits and rights everyone else has is discrimination, which is illegal. But, of course, it wouldn't be the first time Republicans have broken the law to get what they want.

The Republicans are criminals, and that's the bottom line.

3. The last time they brought up banning divorce, they dropped
the issue very quickly. The reason? Because they decided to do their worst at breaking up the Clinton's marriage.

5. If we ban divorce won't people just screw around while married?
You can't legislate love.
