My $300 dollar quandary
I have 300 bucks that I have been saving up to donate to help defeat Bush in November. I have a few choices how to donate it.

1. I like 3 candidates equally well and I could send a hundred bucks to each of them tomorrow.

2. I could force myself to choose between the three and send the whole 300 to one candidate even though doing so is against my better judgment.

3. I could wait until the nominee is chosen and send the 300 plus whatever else I can rat-pack away between now and then and send the whole wad to that candidate for his battle against Bush in November.

What should I do?

Don

2. Go with option three
I think, at this point, the best way to handle it would be to give it to the candidate who HAS the nomination rather than wasting it on one or more candidates who won't get it. Just my opinion. Besides, it is very likely that one of your three will end up winning anyhow.

4. Yeah, I'm a Clark man
But you should donate the money after the nominee is picked. Clark or Kerry could be beat Bush. Actually, if things start going Edwards' way, you should donate to the candidate who could get Edwards out. I don't think America is going to elect a man who has only served his country by being in the senate for less then a full term. Edwards has no experience in international politics and I think that will hurt him horribly against Bush. I just don't see Edwards as presidential material. Those are my two cents.

6. Edwards is Presidential material.
You can learn how by reading his book: (You may need to spend $35 of your $300)

http://www.johnedwards2004.com/fourtrials/

If he isn't Presidential material, the other candidates will be able to take him down. I happen to believe he is the most qualified to be President, and the primaries will bear that out.

13. Edwards is the LEAST qualified Dem candidate.
a 1-term senator with no other elective/legislative experience. what is his pedigree when it comes to national security issues?

7. Put it in escrow. Or otherwise save it.
The money saved should go to the nominee. You could also donate to organizations like MoveOn.org. Money well spent, I say.

George Soros is a good example. He's donated mightily to MoveOn. However he seems to be keeping cash in reserve for the big fight after the nominee is chosen.

12. Excellent idea
We have to remember to support our fellow Dems in races other than the Presidential one. The Republicans are hoping we're too distracted withthe primaries. Let's prove them wrong!!

9. No quandry, please give it to Clark.
Kerry's a zillionaire; he's buying the election with change
he found under his couch cushions.
Edwards is an insider; they'll make sure he gets funded.
Dean...I dunno. He hasn't managed money well.

Clark has made great use of his money.
Look at his success after four months, with no media coverage
or hostile media coverage. He'll make damn good use of the money.
And we need it.
I called the Seattle HQ to ask if they had yard signs to
put up; then don't. No budget for it.
But Kerry signs sprung up on every corner overnight.

That's what we're up against. A wealthy insider.

Oh, and Clark's the best candidate. If that's a factor. :)

15. I too am waiting
I've got a big old change bucket with close to $200 bucks in it that I plan on donating to the party's nominee (been saving up the change for awhile). Let the candidates pound the pavement right now instead of flooding the airwaves and then hopefully there will be enough of us that the nominee can raise enough to compete with the the Bush warchest (sure he's given the country a 500 billion deficit this year, but somehow he's got $150 million in the bank).

17. I vote for options one and three
Don't go against your better judgement. That's never a good thing.

I would go with option 1 now and begin saving for option 3.

18. Better judgment!
Why "save" your $300 when you could INVEST in a no-lose effort and start earning a return today?

Go to https://www.kucinich.us/contribute.php and give all you can.

That will solve your quandary and do more good with your dollars.

Dennis speaks the right message (Hope Not Fear) to the party and the country and will help defeat Bush in November. I back him now as a candidate, as far as he can go, and then I'll do all I can for the nominee when that time comes.

It's all the same cause, and it doesn't stop in November.
