Biden on Meet The Press on the Gay Marriage thing

I'm not a big fan of Biden. He's too cozy with big business and too much connected to the war, but I thought he did a great job on Meet the Press ripping Bush a new one over this Gay marriage amendment BS. His rhetoric, his mocking tone, I loved it!!

He seemed to be a bit more "on" than usual.

4. He didn't support the war
He voted for the resolution, and there's a difference (then again, I think I remember having this discussion with you in 2004, so maybe I shouldn't bother). While he did vote for USA PATRIOT, he's since argued against Bush Administration abuses of it, and while I'm not positive, I believe he was one of those arguing for it not to be renewed. I also find him rather interesting to listen to, both in person and on TV.

He was for DOMA though, which is one of the black marks on his record in my mind (that and things like DMCA and the Bankruptcy Bill).

6. Yes, I think we had that discussion earlier
but, unlike Kerry, Biden is unrepentant about his IWR vote, as is Hillary.

7. No argument on that specific point
I'm just saying that voting for the resolution, even being unrepentant about that vote, doesn't imply supporting the war. However, I know I'm not going to convince you, and you likely know you're not going to convince me, so I guess I'll just stop being all pedantic about specific meanings.

8. I liked it too. All Dems must call the repubs out the same way Biden
did. I missed the first couple of minutes, but liked all of what I heard by Biden.

9. Biden
Look I think he Is too busy with the corporations but unlike Hilary he has said voting for the Iraq
resolution was wrong. My choices are Feingold, then Clark, and then Kerry(It would go to Gore If he runs) but I could support him In the general election If other Democrats were to choose him,and I think he would be better than Hilary.
