Are some states still winner-take-all for delegates?
I believe that when I lived in California 20 yrs ago, it was an unusual winner-take-all. Is that still the case, and is it for other states? I never see anything about this in the press; I just see "winners" announced, which really doesn't breakdown the important delegate rationing.

Thanks,

1. here ya go
from the League of Women Voters of California Education Fund websight

-snip-

For the Green, Libertarian, Natural Law, and Republican parties, the selection of California delegates to the party nominating convention is a "winner-take-all" decision based on that second count. The selection of delegates from California to the Democratic Party nominating convention is not a winner-take-all contest. Therefore, a third tally will be prepared and available only at the Secretary of State's office. It will indicate the number of delegates won by each of the Democratic candidates in each of the congressional districts and the total number of delegates each of the candidates received statewide.

3. Yikes!! How complicated...
So...the California Dems no longer do a winner-take-all race, but the other parties, including Republicans do, and it is a lot more complicated than that....

Any states where Dems do winner-takes-all? I hope not. It's horribly unfair to everyone.

thanks for the info, 4morewars...
