How will they compare to the last election? I'm betting that we blow last year's away.

2. look in CNN delegates scorecard for some specifics by state...
If you look at total votes versus total available voters, seems like only 10% or so in half the states and only about 30% in others. If this is good for primaries, how sad!

3. Ron Reagan on MSNBC said it was double

That, in my lifetime, is a fantastic omen.

4. Here's some stuff
QUOTE
New Mexico democratic leaders hoped for a good turnout in the state's first ever caucuses...but they got more than they expected...
Hundreds of people turned out to cast their vote. Lines extended out the doorways, and some people waited up to 45 minutes. Officials expected about 4 thousand voters in Dona Ana County, but they think more than that showed up.

QUOTE
More than 220,000 Arizona Democrats turned out to cast ballots, surpassing the 140,000 that party leaders had hoped. The state has nearly 800,000 registered Democrats."That's real good news," said Jim Pederson, chairman of the state Democratic party. http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/020...Arizona-ON.html

QUOTE
More than 250,000 voters turned out for South Carolina's Democratic presidential primary, nearly doubling the old party primary record. Voters in South Carolina and six other states went to the polls to choose a candidate to face President George Bush.

7. This is the real story, IMHO.
We could be running Chucky Cheese and we'd be getting the vote out to stop Dimson.

Bad news indeed for the WH tonight.....
