Robert Newman's History of Oil. Extremely funny, while providing an amazing history of oil, the middle east and basis for British/American involvment in the Middle East

3. Highly recommended
Presenting the history of oil and various related things (such as war) in a witty stand-up comedian sort of way. A unique presentation.

6. A big thank you!
And i suggest we share this video with everyone in our address books. It's this best explanation i've seen about Peak Oil, the selling of oil via greenbacks and euros and the reason for war in the middle east.

I'm probably the only person here at DU that hasn't heard of Robert Newman, but i'll be hell bent on getting his message out to the masses.

Btw, i suggest for those that had no idea how we got to this point in our history, that they watch this video twice and then pass it on to others.

Peace!

9. Incredible! It's charming, smart, stinging, educational...clever in aces!

Highly recommended.

Well, that's the ballgame right there: WWI = UK war of aggression in Basra...established British fleet to Iraqi oil vs. a new German railroad to Iraq for oil. Couldn't have that..."Wouldn't be prudent."

And so explains much regarding the UK "attached at the hip" situation in Iraq now. We need their experience, and for it all to appear like this is a "coalition"...and the UK and BP has had a dog in this fight for nearly 100 years.

And the nations that are the "Axis of Evil" are all countries gone or going to a PetroEuro and killing the "blank check fiat printing" of PetroDollars.

All the world now still needs dollars to trade for oil...so we can print as much as we want. Once the entire world needs Euros instead of USD to buy oil, those worthless, unbacked greenbacks will come flooding back in the billions.

Ugh. Bleak Blood for Peak Oil and the PetroDollar.

10. Classrooms should be like this.

Damn.

That was amazing. Almost reminded me of when I listen to Tom Hartman. Extremely educated and well thought out but in a delivery the average joe could follow.

This is an amazing find.
