Dean / Clark / Kucinich Unity Thread !
WE are the Grassroots !

WE are the People !

WE are the only ones opposed to 'business as usual' in Washington and in our candidates !

WE are a Movement !

WE are going ALL the way to the convention ! ( even if it's just one or two of us )

WE can't be stopped !

Deal with it !

1. If Dean and Kucinich Supporters Voted Clark - Pundits Would FREAK
Edited on Wed Feb-04-04 12:13 AM by Jack_Dawson
They've already nominated Kerry. Trust me if Grassroots supporters actually CAME TOGETHER (which by the very definition of grassroots they would arrogantly dismiss as impossible) it would turn politics on its head.

5. While I am not exactly
the joiner type I will agree with one thing whole heartedly. We all need to stick with this. I have little problem with Kerry, a few small things a couple large things but essentially I respect his service to the liberal values of this party. Still, this is not a coronation and we are GOING NOWHERE! To Boston!

16. What do we need to do?
As the real outsiders in this process (Sorry, Mr Edwards!), what do we need to do to get media play? (short of immolation)

Do we need to stage a grassroots demonstration somewhere? Where?

Why do I think we could make any freakin' difference?

6. I'm starting to use the hide a thread feature...some people are getting
pretty nasty with their posts. I'm not going to say which supporters but if it is a negative thread against Clark/Dean/DK you won't see me there. I'm hiding useless nasty threads.

14. They do quite clutter the forum, that's for sure.
I'm just ignoring them, though. Don't want to put blinders on, need to still see a good sample of the population.

7. The choice is easy...
outsiders -

Dean has executive experience, has balanced a budget and has the largest grassroots

Clark fought Milosevic AND the Pentagon to stop a genocide and is beloved by our allies (there are a TON of Europeans on the Clark blog)

Kucinich speaks the truth

insiders -

Kerry has never passed a significant bill and may have lied about cosmetic surgery

Edwards was a trial lawyer who made a mint on speculative cerebral palsy cases

18. Edwards the outsider
I'm now wondering... If Edwards is running as the outsider, now, what the heck has he been doing for the last 4 years?

What's Edwards record in his 4 years in the Senate?

15. Let's do it!
Power to the PEOPLE!!!

While I know that only ONE of the three will win, so long as a GRASSROOTS candidate comes out on top, we WILL change the face of politics and save this nation.

Dean revived the Party's heart

Kuicinich shapes the soul

And Clark is the knight who can carry the banner into battle and out the other side to victory!

Power to the PEOPLE!

19. All three of them together is the best way
Dean is the one who started all this, and if it weren't for him Bush's popularity ratings would still be high. Bush is beatable only because Dean stirred people to action. I think Dean has more than earned the top spot. Clark is the answer to the foreign policy, military and homeland defense mess. His choice of any position he wants whether it be VP or a cabinet position. Kucinich gets his Department of Peace. Sharpton gets something but what, I don't know. Every last one of us needs to slam the media with emails, letters and phone calls that completely bog their miserable asses down. Don't let up for a second until they do everything in their power to undo the damage they've caused to our candidates. Dean has been hurt the worst over that Iowa speech that wasn't even anything what they portrayed it to be. If it weren't for that media blitz, Dean would have taken NH and probably most of the states Kerry has taken. We can't take this sitting down. This is war.

21. Yep, I agree...
that's why I don't participate in these threads. Weeks ago, we were under attack by the same people who now want to unite with us.

I am a DEMOCRAT, not a Dean/Clark/Kucinich supporter. I feel that my candidate has the best platform for my country and I support him for that reason, not out of spite toward the other two candidates.

Indeed, I will be equally as joyful if Clark or Kerry or Edwards faces off with Bush. It won't get better than that.

Unity in Democracy! Any other pretension is only divisive.

There was a time when I didnt like Kerry, yes I was mad about the IWR but I knew he would change the country for good. Hes a good man, and I really admire him, many people my age too do, and I am really pleased at how well he did tonight, did solid in SC and OK as well, to the other primaries we go a marching and from there to Boston, and hopefully to the white house, I mean to the white house :).
