Kerry-Edwards ticket
6 weeks ago I was a steadfast Dean supporter--I contributed to his campaign with money and verbiage.
I like Dean, I like his message, however, I want the BOY king out of office--and I think Kerry-Edwards represent America to me.

Let's set the infighting aside and put Kerry-Edwards in the White House. Let us take back this country from the plutocratic war hawks. Lets stand united against Bush and his campaign of fear and lies, lets stand up to Karl Rove and his puppet democracy!

Democrats, We should stop the bickering and elect a president to lead us in the correct direction.

It's been a long time since I have posted and I know I will be shot in minutes, however I will gracefully get off my stump IF only you consider our future for a moment and forget the BS.

We will take the White House in November! That is all that matters!
Vote Kerry-Edwards!

Kudos to Clark for the good fight, and Dean for some good laughs.

8. I resemble that!
Dean for some good laughs

Hey, hold on a second there. We all owe Dean a lot more than thanks for a good laugh (and I, for one, have never laughed at Dean). If it weren't for Dean, no Democrat would know that speaking out pays big dividends. It is doubtful Kerry or anyone else would be criticizing dumbya to the extent that they are. If it weren't for Dean, none of us would know that little donations can add up to big money. Dean has exemplified the fight that we have all been so desperate to see.

And many people have not yet written him off.

Cher

18. i agree with you
Dean deserves most, if not all, the credit for setting the discourse of this election year.

I don't want to write Dr. Dean off just yet--however, as a viable candidate it is hard to for me to support him financially (especially at this point)--i want us to stop bickering and win the white house!

does that make sense?

5. what actual Substance does Edwards bring the ticket?
what are his credentials, beside 1-term senator?

aside from photogenics, I've never understood what people see or hear in Edwards.

19. Though I support Kerry
Edwards has the right stuff.

There is a little substance to that on term Senator stuff, but not much. He has a lot on the ball, and has been fighting what the Bush administration has been up to ever since the 2000 elections. He argued against the Supreme Court decision eloquently and correctly.
It was then that I noticed this guy (I had to aske people who he was) and over three years ago I stated in fron of a room full of very angry Florida Democrats that someday this Edwards guy will be president ( I got laughed at, but I made a bet that day in 1999 that he would run for president in 2004, and I collected a few weeks ago on that bet.) About the only real diffence I find between Edwards and Kerry anyway is the years in office. (Yeah I know Edwards people will argue that ther is a big differnce, but voting wise, and actual career experience wise, there is not all that much differnce between their positions) I do admit, the rich guy who went to vietnam and got his ass shot up, and the poor guy who worked his way from nowhere to the senate and maybe beyond would make a very, very tough ticket to beat.

4. The DLC will be happy to hear that.
and the way that Koppel and Jennings do everything but suck their dicks on camera, it seems that the media is all giggly about the choice too.

about the DLC as well.
However, right now, today until tomorrow, we need to focus on the winning the White House.

7. I liked Dean since June '03
I was visiting Austin, Texas (I'm from Pa.) back in June 2003 and I was jogging one morning when I saw a Dean for America sign in front of someone's house - at that time it was kind of surreal - being in Gov. Bush's Capitol town, seeing that sign, and dreaming of the day he gets booted out of office. It now seems eons ago because the election seemed so faraway at that time - anyway, I saw that sign and I thought that's cool - not America for Dean - but Dean for America. Then I got the chance to see him in Pittsburgh at a conference and began to listen to his message and liked him.

Well, now many months later after it has become apparent that Dean will not be the nominee. I think back to that moment in June and realize my wonderment and awe was in the thought of removing Bush from office and not necessarily with the person that does it.

So I heartily endorse a Kerry Dean ticket or Kerry Clark so long as my dream is fulfilled.

13. wow
That reminds me of how I first learned about Dean and it inspired the same hopes in me!
It was not in Austin (for me, Seattle) but I did believe he could do it.

At this moment, any Democratic ticket will be a dream fulfilled for me. I want us to win. I want health care. I want my cousins to come home from Iraq. I want corporations to pay their share. I want the rich to pay taxes. I want a job.

9. I'm a die hard Dean supporter
But its looking like its not going to happen. So, anybody but Bush. And Kerry/Edwards or Edwards/Kerry would be a tough ticket for Bush to beat. If thats the way is shakes down, they'd have my support.

11. Probably not...
two sitting senators on the same ticket isn't very helpful.

16. well...
he'll be a sitting Senator at the time of the election.

I really think it's very unlikely. If Kerry is the nominee, I believe his running mate with be Clark or Bill Richardson.

21. MSNBC nearly asked the question tonight
Keith Olberman reported the 80% numbers on whether folks "would be satisfied" to vote for Kerry if he was nominated.... and pointed out that they had not asked about Edwards...
I am sure the exit polls would be pretty high for both of them against the plutocrats...
