What makes you so sure you're right?

Kerry's problem isn't simply that he's from Massachusetts, although that probably doesn't help. Kerry's probably is that he is much more liberal than the electorate. I know he doesn't seem that way to the typical DU'er, but that's only because the typical DU'er is much more liberal too. And he has a 20 year voting record and will be very easy to for the Bush campaign to highligh unpopular votes.

Kerry also has very close ties to some of the Republican's favorite liberal bogeymen. He was Michael Dukakis' Lieutenant Governor. Teddy Kennedy is Kerrey's most vocal and visible supporter.
