Poll question: How is everyone feeling tonight
Before I even see the results, I want to extend electronic high-fives to everyone feeling happy with tonight's results, and electronic hugs to anyone feeling down. We're all in this together.

6. I feel great. It's the best week of political news in a long time
The cover of Newsweek is superb.

The polls showing Kerry over Bush are even better.

I think we can win and win big. Maybe take the Senate and the Presidency. :bounce:

It's not so good for Clark but I'm dreaming about a VP or cabinet level appointment.

10. I can't get into tonight's primaries...
I tried to care about the primaries...I really did. And in my head I'm happy for Kerry but wish Dennis woulda done better. I'm just physically in too much pain for high fives. (Shoulder popped out of socket and my neck and back are killing me.)

I'll take that virtual hug though.

I really believe the massive turnouts we are seeeing in the dem primaries foretell a groundswell that will crets this November. I feel it. Not getting complacent, but it's coming.

18. Feeling good
I'm happy about what I perceive as a big freaking pulling together of the Democratic Party against Bushco. It has become painfully obvious for the Republicans that we are not going to roll over.

I've jumped on the Kerry train now. It took a while.

I'm bummed on the state level, as we had a tax levy go down that will cut schools and services big time, but that's another story.

We're all in this together, no question.

19. Good and bad.
Knowing Dennis Kucinch is setting up a long term progressive message makes me happy, just wish he was doing better. However from the numbers out there voting we are going to win this election. Bush* is going down and that makes me the happiest person in the world. Gonna go watch DK on Larry King then over to Kilborn. How are you feeling?

I've stopped packing for Canada. At least temporarily. The Kerry-over-Bush poll (though Kerry's peaking too early for comfort -- the Rethugs have such a chance to torpedo him with prevaricatin' push polls and other dirty tricks) gives one hope.

27. Good!
Among my buds, I witnessed a small last minute conversion to Kucinich all across Missouri. People who were for the most part set to make a vote based on the issue of electibility suddenly decided that what we had been saying about Bushco was right, and that someone able to demonstrate opposable thumbs and declaim a grammatically complete sentence can beat Bush.

From there, they went on to vote their heart, because their minds had caught up. And better yet, these were all already activists in their respective communities.

29. Way better than the poor distraught Bush Team... who must be having
to triple the Prosac dose. *Burp!*

The poor pubs are in a panic.

Soon they will attempt the "Hail Mary Pass". Low odds of success but have no other choice, must use the only option left, the dreaded long bomb; where it can be intercepted more easily than other plays.

4th Quarter and the score is not looking good for the Pubs.

The Opi is smiling tonight.
