So when is Dean supposed to win his first state?
He's trailing in Michigan by 40 points. I doubt he'll do much better in Washington. Then it's Virginia and Tennessee where he has no chance.

I don't see where he can win.

7. At least Dean isn't owned by the DLC which is just as bad as Bush
really because they kept Al Gore from running essentially. Bush kept John McCain from running with his little story. The media aided the DLC when they made a big deal about the scream. Hopefully, they're be able to get a lot of Independents for Kerry because I'm not about to vote for him. I'm looking to belong to a real political party made up of real people not non-thinking followers.

25. How did the DLC stop Gore from funning?
Mind control? Threats of violence? Blackmail?

14. What a strategy
Name one party nominee since the McGovern-Fraser rules changes in 1972 who won the nomination by losing every primary and caucus.

2. How about we let the voters decide?
Not the pundits.

Kerry was doing too well a week before Iowa, and look at him now.

24. I think the voters are deciding very nicely, thank you.
I have come to the conclusion that Dean is spending too much time and money hauling that big "organization " all over the country.

5. Michigan is going to be a hard loss
but I think he is banking on Wisconsin as a 'win' but it isn't about winning. It is about collecting delegates, which if tonight was any indicator, isn't going to work.

I feared one caesar and another came along and the people shoved the laurel on his head before I realized it. I trust democracy, but I feel ill.

9. Michigan is nobody's state. The UAW is usually the deciding
factor.

Washington or Michigan, and I would be knocked on my ass if he loses Tennessee. Gore lost Tennessee for his NRA stance. Kerry, I think, will take a big hit in Tennessee and Dean will do very, very well.

Edited to add: if Dean doesn't win BIG on Super Tuesday, I'll shut up, not donate another dollar and just give up on the process.

18. I don't see Dean winning Tennessee
Actually, seeing his performance in New Mexico - I don't see Dean winning anywhere and I am filled with bileous rage and at this whole process. I'll cast my vote in November but I can't stomach this anymore.

20. Before you get too smug
Remember only 10% of the delegates are accounted for. A lot can happen in a week, for any candidate. You never know what the media might dig up on any frontrunner and change the scheme of things.

Let's hope that Dean catches fire and hits hard in the next few primaries.

Small, not many delegates, but any win would give him a much needed boost.
