after they feel the coast is clear. In other words, once they determine a more significant premise is established, they actually report fairly on what they consider to be something of less significance. Then when they are accused of bias, they point to the accurate reporting. If the main story tonight wasn't Kerry and Edwards, but rather Clark, then they would have had to smear and lie about Clark's performance tonight for the sake of protecting their manin man Bush. Got it? :)))
