Hayden wants the 4th amendment scrapped

Hayden also has some very "peculiar" ideas about 4th Amendment. Hayden believes that 4th Amendment protections should be scrapped altogether, since "loyal citizens" do not need to hide behind constitutional guarantees. Only the "seditious" need such "protection."

if you all have already discussed this - sorry. first I've seen it.

1. I'd like to see the actual Hayden quote that led to that summary.
I think Al Martin took some license in his interpretation.

6. Re-Open The Upper-Level of Alcatraz for Them
We want these people where we can keep an eye on them.

Keep doing the tours. Let the people gawk at the once-mighty junta.

Bush** can have Al Capone's old cell.

Unless they have a prior engagment at the Hague…

4. if he knows what it is.....
...he doesn't act like he knows what it means!!!

Olbermann showed a clip of him talking to someone about the fourth amendment and Hayden insisted it was based on 'reasonable' and the other person pointed out that it was based on probable cause, which it is. Hayden didn't even acknowledge probable cause, he kept going back to the reasonable issue.

And what is 'reasonable' is such a vague term. What is 'reasonable' to one person may not be reasonable to another.

I don't trust these crooks to decide what they think reasonable is for me.

5. well i think mr. hayden needs to be brought up on treason
charges for those statements. His job is to protect the constitution, not try and get rid of it....what an asshole.
