Clark skips Iowa gets raked over the coals. Dean skips 7 states/ gets pass
I'm seriously peeved by yet even more bias from the media. There's so damn much it hurts your head to figure out where to start.

MSNBC already has a glossy spot in on the air about the next round and how "the Dean Machine" is poised to upset Kerry in Michigan. Dean hasn't won any contests either but again I guess he gets a pass on that too.

I'm NOT railing against Dean here, call Dean candidate X for all I care. It's the stinking, scum sucking, bottom feeding, mother molesting, reich wing pustule juice drinking media I cannot STAND.

I swear to God, all I've heard tonight is Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Edwards, Edwards, Edwards, Kerry, Kerry, Kerry, Kerry, Clark is dead. Repeat from the beginning.

A man who has never run for political office in his life came in third in the the first Primary he ever ran in. Oh, btw, this primary....... WAS FOR THE PRESIDENCY of the UNITED STATES. Now he is in a dead heat for a win in two states. I would call that a feat nearing to MIRACULOUS! But to hear the big media talk, he's one foot in the grave.

2. Affirmation
I support all you said. Frustrating as hell. And he's doing this with a near complete media blackout.

(e.g. I'm sitting here watching a round-table on CNN, where they have 3 Kerry supporters and 1 each for Dean, Edwards & Clark. Frickin' ridiculous. And they just let all 3 Kerry supporters spout why their candidate is great, yet heard nothing from the other 3.)

11. And when they do ask a Dean spokesperson
anything now it's "What about that scream in Iowa"? Yes, it was good for a few laughs and I'm willing to bet even DEAN laughed about it a couple times..........

But MY GOD............

P.S. Somebody needs to feed Judy Woodruff something........ she looks like a blanched starvation strike veteran.

5. Yes it's on
And I know what you mean, too.

They're also saying that Clark should quit if he doesn't win a state. Helloo?? Dean hasn't won a state either and you don't hear the same thing about him. The bias is maddening.

Here't to some positive 'mo' for Clark!!!!

7. I hear ya.
From a Dean supporter....the media has too much influence in this process. I'm biased, so don't hear Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean....I'm hearing Edwards, Edwards, Edwards, Edwards. Not to knock Edwards, he deserves his day in the sun.

I've said before, and say again, we ALL need to be sending complaints to media outlets when there is apparent bias. We tolerate this bias when it plays in favor of our choice. In October and November, the spin is going to be against Democrats and in favor of the Republican agenda. If we're going to stop the media spin and re-enforce responsible journalism, we HAVE to raise a storm EVEN when it doesn't directly support our personal choice.

Don't even talk about the media giving Dean a pass on anything.

15. Who, and when?
All I have heard tonight is about how he's adopting Reagans strategy and how he's still in the hunt.

That was earlier today on MSNBC. About 3 or 4 CST. I haven't heard anybody call Dean a loser.

AS I SAID........ THIS IS NOTHING TO DO WITH DEAN..........

CALL HIM CANDIDATE X.

It's about Clark getting put on ignore 90% of the time and then slammed the other 10%.

At least they can't lump him in with Lieberman anymore, I guess they'll try to put him in with Kucinich and Sharpton now.

13. We've been trying to tell you
We don't know what the hell the infatuation is with the media and Dean. This is exactly what happened most of last year. No particular reason to have Dean on TV 24/7, but there he was.

I agree, Clark should have been much more of a story this week and tonight and in the next days. And the most recent polls I've seen show Kerry stomping Dean in Michigan. But the media keeps shoving Dean.

Personally, I think they want to make Democrats look like idiots. He's the only one saying roll back all the Bush tax cuts so as long as he's out there, the right can use it against us. He really needs to get the hell out of the damn race and let 3 winners battle it out.

he was actually campaigning in several of them last week. He just decided not to spend any more money on TV ads.

22. But he was on the ballots in each one of them
He had offices in at least South Carolina. But he had to pull all money out of these states to consolidate in the next round.

16. Deans not getting a free pass. He's having a shitty night
The spot on his plan to take Michigan was nothing but spin from the Dean camp - he's sinking like a rock there and Kerry is ahead by double digits and gaining. More than 20 points I believe.

I think Clark would have recieved more coverage had the OK race not been so close and they could call it sooner if he won. Since it's so close it will be late before he'll get a chance to speak and they can give him some winners coverage. Unfortunate that it will be late, but he should get some coverage tomorrow for it.

19. The media has to spout this shit to make ppl think they know what they're
talking about. It sucks that it is this way, but at least we have the consolation of knowing that it doesn't matter what the media whores say, except insofar as there are still fools who believe their oracular predictions. Clark is alive for as long as he wants to be (or rather, for as long as his funds hold out).

Don't let the whores get ya down. Just cuss'em and move on.

21. Your premise is false. Dean didn't "skip" any states...
He just pulled late ads in the 7 states that voted today.

Hardly the same thing.
