Campaign contributions - Some advice please

OK, I really feel that this years election is super freakin important and I want to be as certain as I can be that my financial contributions will go where it can do the most good. I've been giving it a lot of thought and I'm still unsure how to divvy up the money. I live in Ohio and when I look at what we have this year, there seem to be so many important races, senator (both U.S. and state), Representative (U.S. and state), Governor and more. On one hand, I really want my state back and feel most or all of what I can afford should go there, on the other, I also want my country back... Then again, while I'm giving all I can it will still be a drop in the bucket considering how much will be spent altogether on elections (but hey, enough drops can cause a flood).

1. If you want it to go to grassroots organizing, give to your state party

Buying a DNC Democracy Bond will ultimately grow the grassroots as well.

2. Since you live in Ohio with so many important races,

I would contribute to the Ohio Democratic party. The more they get out the vote, the better off all of us will be. Alternatively, pick one House Democrat you really believe in and donate to him or her. That's what I'm doing.
