Driving home, I think I saw a smirk on a "Bush/Cheney04" driver
who also had something to the effect of "Bush/Cheney Farm Group" bumper sticker along with the BS04, er, BC04 sticker on his gas-o-saur pickup truck.

You see, I have a sign in my back window of my car - "Throw the Rubber-Stamp Republicans Out!" . . . no bumper stickers . . .

1. "Bush-Cheney Farm and Ranch Team" (John Deere green & yellow)
This sticker usually seen on large farm type trucks and vehicles driven by asshat Republicans who don't give a crap about real farmers. They might own some cattle or horses but they are not usually row crop farmers. This is my experience in NE GA in the very "white" red counties.

3. It's like the "Cowboys" here in Arizona-can we say POSER??
Cause you know real Cowboys drive Ford F150's, wear designer jeans, and shop at Wal-Mart for all their needs.

Phonier than a Chinese redhead.

6. Real cowboys drive big duallys; wear Wranglers & shop at Tractor Supply.

I am a cowgirl of sorts: I have a horse, drive a 4x4 truck (w/ anti-Bush, anti-GOP signs and a DemocraticUnderground.com sticker on it), my truck is dirty and muddy and the floorboard is littered with hay and oats and other horse debris. :)

18. Ah, yes, the caked-on mud, dirt, manure and straw are key things
to help spot a real vs. drugstore cowboy/girl in his/her rig.

But the real test is dried coffee splatters around the cup holder, from driving on really bad dirt roads at ungodly hours of the morning.

20. Like the dried cow shit stuck in my tire treads. My wife's explorer
has horse teeth marks all over the hood. For some reason my horses like to chew her blue hood.

23. Horses are hell on vehicles.
I recently saw a two year old warmblood strip the rubber weather stipping off the back window of an open truck camper top. It took about three seconds for him to do it. He also ate the weatherstipping off of his trailer windows.

They'll chew up your windshield wipers too. :(

22. I've got the coffee splatters too! The farm road is really bumpy!
:)

Manure, coffee stains, red mud, straw and hay: Check.
Horse tack and gear: check.
Three pairs of old paddock boots. Check.
Old straw cowboy hat chewed on by horse: Check.

stuck in that cowboy mode. You ask where they are from and they say Chicago or NY. Go get em Marlboro Man!

19. There are NO "food farms" in Richfield Ohio
(closest thing is a "flower farm", and then you have a "commercial farm" down actually in Peninsula . . .)

I don't know of any "family farms" where they're growing their own food . . .

5. bumper philosophy
Angry drivers used to scream at me at plaes like stoplights and drive-through bank teller lines when I had my Kerry/Edwards sticker on my car.

Now I have an old "Al Sharpton for President" sticker on my car, and I either get a laugh or really weird looks from other people on the road. Two years and no screaming so far.

There's so many "W" stickers on vehicles here, it's tempting to vandalize them right off the gas hog SUV's.

16. Right after the 04 general election
We found a little post-it sticky on our "Veteran for Kerry" sticker, handwritten on it "commie loser." It was in a Costco parking lot, in a somewhat less-red area of town. Oh well, at least they didn't damage the car or the sticker. I once had a sticker about reintroducing wolves to Yellowstone all ripped up.

I have a Clark08 sticker on now, and so far (knock wood) no one's bothered it.

I don't see many "W" or BC04 stickers anymore.

10. Two of my friends voted for Al in the last primary!
My hubby stuck with Al from the very beginning and voted for him in the primary. I voted for Edwards. I am impressed with Al when he goes on TV witht the talking head pundits and hosts. Al rocks!

It's your right, of course, to vandalize any vehicle that offends you.
