8. The major under reported stoy is just how aware people are of this race
and the fact that the Dems are competitive and getting a lot of interest in so called "red states"

14. Oh, God forbid they pay any attention to a story like that.
I am just so beyond disgusted with reporters these days... The whole AWOL business was right there smackin' 'em in the face four years ago and - did they pay any attention? NO. They were too caught up in what Al Gore was wearing that day. Schmucks. They deserve to be embarrassed as much as bush does.

11. I'd have to go with the General, if he indeed takes Oklahoma
Winning a state after being shit on by the media. Good for him. And it will happen again on Saturday. But it won't be Clark that time :)

19. I want it to be Clark, but so far I have to give it to Edwards
Edited on Tue Feb-03-04 09:23 PM by D G
He is making an excellent showing, and not just in SC where it was more or less expected.

Now when NM and AZ are fully counted, I hope the story switches to Clark...

20. Edwards and Clark. Lieberman as a side dish because he's quit.
Edwards because he won something - maybe more - remains to be seen. Clark because he's come back from the dead. Some observers had him rumored to be considering pulling out soon. That appears unlikely now. Kerry will win by the numbers but everybody'll be looking mostly at the fair-haired lad from South Carolina.
