CNBC Discussing Kerry - Support Mile Wide, Inch Deep?
Borger, Russert, Brokaw now on. Russert trying to sabotage a Kerry/Edwards ticket, but mentioned how united the Democrats are as a party, "party has coalesced around the message of defeating gw bush."

2. "Support Mile Wide, Inch Deep?"
Yes, I think that accurately describes the senator's support.

4. Sad part is, none of the other canidates have acknowledged
what Dean has done to excite people in the Democratic party. Or at least I have heard none of this.

10. I don't think that matters as much as the fact that he HAS....

7. Sorry, but defeating George Bush is a goal, not a message
If the Democrats are going to win this election, they need to be able to explain to voters who electing a Democrat will improve their lives. And Edwards can explain things better and make the Democratic case better than any other candidate in the race.

8. Tell that to Tim Russert
He was the one who said it was a "message". And he's not exactly a noted Dem-booster.
