9. Makes electoral sense

An edge in Florida is massive. In November 2004 I thought Jeb would be the GOP's 2008 nominee, for that reason. Now it's probably delayed but I still think Jeb will be the Republican nominee one day. Change the '94 gov results in Florida and Texas, both upsets, and Jeb would have been Gore's opponent in 2000.
