Say one thing nice about George W. Bush
In light of this whole Hillary Compliments the Chimp scandal, I do have to admit she was placed in a bit of a predicament. I got to asking myself, if I had to say one nice thing about George W. Bush, what would it be? After thinking, I finally decided that he's one hell of a fisherman.

Anyone else?

31. depends where you put him, though ...
In Madame Tussaud's chamber of horrors ... or as a doorstop, in combination with a "Now Go Away" welcome mat ... yes, he would be quite decorative. As a towel rack in the bathroom -- not so much.

Place him in the bathroom with his index fingers apart and placed *just* so. Viola! a TP dispenser. (Nice for atonement on *'s part.)

17. That's about the only thing I can think of
But is he responsible, or did he just sign what was put in front of him?

The only other good things I can say about him are that he exercises, I do think it's important to take care of yourself, so I can't slam him for that.

Also, he falls down sometimes, and that's always good for putting a smile on my face.

But not so long ago he was a drug abuser and an alcoholic

Seriously, Hillary did the right thing, IMO. You've got to say something, and not too sarcastically. So she said something that nobody can confuse with something she thinks is important. It's called damning with faint praise, and it's a politician's art.

Sorry. I can't think of anything else to say. I find him utterly repulsive. I see NOTHING about him I like, including the so-called reg'lar guy crap painting him as that nice guy you could go have a beer with. Again, let me stress, I know ALL KINDS OF NICE PEOPLE I could go have something to drink with (not a beer person, myself), but exactly NONE of them would be what I'd consider qualified to be President of the United States. And anyway, why should anyone be considering having a beer with bush in the first place? He's not supposed to be drinking anymore (not that he's following along with that, I'd suspect).

42. George W. Bush is a most "superlative" President.
In fact, the Bush Administration is well on its way to establishing a standard of excellence never approached by another presidency. No previous administration has grappled so closely with corruption and political favoratism, and no previous administration has fought so hard or so successfully to keep that epic endeavor out of the public view. Never before have the basic Constitutional rights of American citizens been addressed so directly and across so wide a spectrum. No President has recieved such resounding and consistent adulation from an adoring press.

George W. Bush is the archetype of what a modern American President can be. He is, without a doubt, the worst President ever.

Aw, hell. I just couldn't do it.

Now I make about 40% of what I made at the start of his term, so I'm saving on taxes.

I'm driving less, because gas is three bucks a gallon. That's helping to save the planet.

Most of all, I like how he has managed to unite not just America, but the WHOLE WORLD against him. He really IS a uniter, not a divider.

It's easier than ever to join the military; why, his Defense (sic) Department even took in an autistic kid from my neighborhood so they could teach him to be a cavalry scout! What a country!

I've made lots of new friends online and when I've marched in the streets. The folks down at the phone bank at the union hall know me now.

Editorial cartoonists and late-night comics currently are basking in the success of the Bush economy.

So much to choose from, it's hard to decide on just one thing. :)
