Is It Possible To Impeach A President & A Vice President At The Same
time?? I would love to get on the bandwagon and kick The Idiot out, but not unless we can get The Dick too!

I don't think I've ever heard of this happening in America. I think I have more knowledge than the "average Joe" when it comes to politics, but I must admit I need to bone up on past administrations.

3. Technically, it's possible, although
why do you think this would be a good idea?

And on what charges?

And then what?

Uh, and it's never a good idea to boast about your intellectual superiority when you're showing your lack of it.

Love,
Average Joe

11. Uh, I Don't Think I Mentioned Superiority... I Was Making Reference
to those millions out there who don't bother to look for factual truths and those who don't bother to VOTE! I run into people all the time who can't tell you who the Secretary of State is. But pardon me all to hell, I'll take back what I said about knowing anything more about politics.

I sometimes wonder why it takes so little to get "flamed" here when no real intent was meant. I do try to be careful, but I was simply setting myself up to make the statement THAT I DID NOT KNOW the answer to my question.

As to the impeachment question, to put it as simple as possible, the damage that has been done since these people entrenched themselves in the WH, IMHO is pretty dire. It's going to take a very long time to fix so many things that have gone wrong. Just thinking about all the judges that have been appointed on the state and local levels is depressing enough!

As to charges, take a pick... bet you could find some!

16. I didn't see the "boast" either
and I certainly didn't pick up the alleged "intellectual superiority" either. To the contrary you pointed out you had a lack of knowledge on the subject and you therefore asked for information on the subject. This is perfectly reasonable. I hate seeing people getting attacked or otherwise flamed by people with alleged "intellectual superiority" when they make inquiries like yours and would encourage you to ignore this kind of treatment and continue on with questioning when you have them. You'll find most will treat you appropriately that engage in legitimate questioning. Those that attack lke this are in the substantial minority. I didn't alert on the post so I feel obligated to apologies to you on behalf of most of DU that feel this way but don't wish to engage in tit for tat flaming. I'd just suggest keep on keeping on.

There is substantial information on a whole host of issues that would warrant impeachment. There are a number of impeachment indictments on the net. There is a good one I read in a journal right here on DU, but I'm sorry I didn't save the URL but it could probably be found with the search engine.

I think the biggest question on the issue is when to proceed and if this is the time to proceed considering the congress is still RED. Also would too much effort in this direction NOW be counterproductive and get ROVED (exploited to motivate the repub base) in the election. These are legitimate questions that need consideration as the wrong decision could screw our children's children.

is trying to do exactly this. Sorry I don't have links to details, but there is a bill in committee in the CA Assembly right now.

4. I suggest we impeach Cheney first
then tell the Chimp he can pick his successor...

that way he can do the Nixon-helicopter-V-sign thing again for us.

and his successor can pardon him.

7. Not Hastert. Pelosi. President Pelosi.
:)

Face it, there can be NO impeachment until Democrats re-take the House.

6. Kick him out, kick Dick out, and there will still be a PNAC stooge there
as well as all the incompetent sycophants that Bush appointed to various positions.

The only way this country can ever get on the right path is if we can get the White House and have Congress so we can undo all this crap Bush has been doing.

15. I actually recommend...
to everyone interested in impeachment that efforts should be made to impeach Cheney and get him out of the picture before going after Bush.
