State Democratic Endorsement process on Monday - a day following the 31st anniversary of the Vietnam War's ending (May 7). We did very, very well.

The Providence Journal carried the specific portion of our progressive message about Bush's impeachment and bringing our troops home now.

Jack Reed is pretty good. I hope we can do as well in this upcoming election. As I understand it, Whitehouse is a little disappointing in this regard.

I just had to deal with the very thing you're talking about just the other day. A dude named Robb who was a repub mayor here in WV switched over and ran as a democrat for the US house of representatives. It didn't work because the man came in third in a three man race! People don't trust Repigs or X repigs anymore...DO YOU BLAME THEM? I don't, and I never voted for the guy. Someone that was silly enough to have EVER voted for Bush, or anyone like him, is too stupid to govern. Look at all the other GOPers in congress who STILL put their crooked party ahead of their love for their country. Not a single repub in congress, will say a word to Bush, in defense of the country! Low life, wimpy, spying, COWARDS, every one!

I have trouble even supporting a DLC democrat! If they agree with republicans, they don't agree with me.

Party should I run in?

Presently, the Pubs have made it hard for themselves....they have revealed too much about their greed/selfishness/and lack of concern for the Masses.

For a better chance, The choice is reduced to 2, Democratic or Independent/Green/Obscure

Many Closet Pubs will choose to run as a DEM cause the odds are higher for success...and if they don't get elected, they have a chance to muddy the waters and weaken a true DEM in primaries...giving the Pub opponent better odds come the General election. Kinda Roveseque? could be...

I'm not saying Carl is a closet Pub...but look at his record here on the DU...He evades questions, has weak ideas for solutions, and misspells alot. Poor grammer for a candidate is one thing. Poor Grammer for a PhD is another.
