The Perfect Running Mate/VP....(this is the ticket)
Lloyd Doggett (Tx)

Why? Three Reasons, plus alot of extras.

Pulls in the South
Mends the Divide in the Dem Party (he's progressive)
He's from Bush's home state (bwaaaaa!)

He's bright, articulate, much loved, clean of any dirt, has a long and prestigeous career in politics, has shown his leadership in spades, appealing to minorities. He also voted AGAINST the War Resolution.
He's also available for the job having been the victim of Tx. redistricting.

What do you think?

1. I really like the man
and I hate that he's being forced out, but I don't think he's the one. It would be nice if the vp could help carry his/her state and I don't thinks thats likely in Texas.

4. If that were true (and I'm not convinced it is), why not send a message

then? It gives Texas a real chance to change their colors to Dem by providing a solid choice. If the South is lost then how better to begin changing it back? Reclaim Texas from a Tx. Republican. president! How sweet it is...

3. I Don't Care What Anyone Says,
He just can't compare to Fox Mulder. But it would help a lot if he could do that liquid metal thing.

5. Oh please. Not another Texan. Please.
How about Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon? Bad decision on Medicare bill, but otherwise pretty darn good on the issues. Also, very likable and in touch with the people.

On the other hand, I would hate to lose him.

6. You obviously don't know Doggett. To know him is to love him.

Trust me. I think any progressive Texan will back me up on that.
