7. Really? Kennedy? Must I lose respect for ALL of them before it's over?
Excluding Dean and Clark and Kucinich, of course. My respect for honorable men never wavers. Dissing Dean has become the flavor du jour.

10. i think this is what endorsing a candidate is supposed to mean
when Ted Kennedy signs onto a campaign, he signs on, especially for his fellow mass senator. i wouldn't dis Kennedy for working as hard for his guy as anyone else is working for theirs.

11. I'm sure most of them are thinking about it already
Not that it matters much, I think Iowa proved that union members don't always vote as their leaders tell them to.

supported things like NAFTA GATT WTO and bushes fast track to the FTAA I wonder if those union members who risked arrest and bodilyinjury just to come for the protests i would like that

You can't expect them to back him forever if he doesn't pull out a win. He had a commanding lead in most of these early primary states only 4 or 5 weeks ago and sank like a rock since then. Recently pinning his chances on MI and WI, and now polling poorly in those states. Can't put off the inevitable forever.

16. Well, endorsements didn't help and seem to have hurt,
here's hoping losing a few will do the opposite of what is expected and actually benefit.

17. AFSCME and SEIU were only concerned about beating Bush
they had no special preference for Dean himself, they were very open about that when they were choosing between Dean and Gephardt. This is the leadership I'm talking about.
