Clark Supporters Check in... voice your anger here...
Edited on Tue Feb-03-04 04:18 PM by xultar
I PROMISE

I could literally burst into flames here @ my desk right now. I can barely contain the utter contempt and hatred I feel for this election process of 2004. I am FUMING. I am trying to hold it together because I know in the end.
The democratic party will learn that they can't assume we will fall in line like the wingnut neo-cons do. I vow, to make sure that all African Americans withdraw their registration to the Democratic party until the Democratic party gets their act together.

The DLC/DNC has allowed the RW to sucker punch them to sandbag General Clark. After what I've seen today America doesn't Deserve Clark as President.

The DNC & DLC leaders have done to us essentially what GWB did to us in FL. The DLC/DNC have taken our votes away from us. They are following some dumb idea Carville dreamed up to have a nominee before any voters have cast votes in primaries. How stupid is that?

They wanted a nominee after IA, then NH, now Super Tuesday. Well, they can have one. They can take Kerry and or Edwards or Whomever they want to crown. I will not vote in 2004. Furthermore, I will refuse to vote Democratic tickets until they listen to US and OUR concerns about how they have undermined the voter in 2004.

I am sick of being taken for granted by the democratic party. SICK SICK SICK

The fight is on, I'm taking it to the streets and directly to the people. They will know and understand that we will not be silent. They have made one black woman very angry.:grr: Let me tell you, you don't want to make black women angry. :grr:

DLC/DNC - THIS IS WAR! :nuke::grr::nuke::grr::nuke::grr::nuke::grr:

11. I am f)(*&^% pissed also
The media has ignored Clark for a reason, he can beat Bush and they know it. Clark is not beholden to any special interest. CNN just showed a tally of delegates and Clark has 30 to Edwards 36 that is a difference of 6 vote. If Clark won OK and Edwards won SC but Clark came is second like he was expected to than he would surpass Edwards on the delegate count. I'm furious, in my phone calling many have expressed the "fact" they thought that Clark was getting out because they have not seen him on TV. If Clark does bow out I will go to work for Dean, this Kerry thing stinks to me. For the the first time I really think that * will win again. Someone is pulling to hard for Kerry.

ELECTION DAY UPDATE

UPDATE: Exactly as we told he he would, Drudge is posting a link to a right-wing taken exit poll which tries to push Edwards and Kerry and bury Clark. You see now, dear M/I reader, that this is all predictable at this point - it is what they do every single time - and that by calling it out ahead of time, candidates and parties can somewhat blunt the effect by informing people of the game. Again, the idea - with most of the voting still to be done at this point - is to demoralize the supporters on the candidates they are against, making it not seem worth their time going to the polls, and to energize the supporters of the candidates they want to win. This will now spread from Drudge to the supposed "mainstream" media, in some places subtly, in some places directly, as well as all over talk radio, etc. Here is the warning that we gave you this morning that they would run this game... "Standard operating procedure for the Republican Mean Machine on election day is to release demoralizing leaks midday to try and suppress the voting for those they are against. Usually this begins with Drudge posting supposed info from a supposed insider, and then Zogby hits the air and starts hinting - not so subtly - that things are drastically going the way they want them to go. They usually turn up the heat later in the day by, usually around 4PM or so, having first Drudge than others flat out say it is a done deal for their guy before the evening voting starts."

The best thing to do
Edited on Tue Feb-03-04 04:13 PM by DakotaDemocrat
is go to eblock at www.clark04.com, get 10 names and sing the praises of Wes and his vision!

The networks disappoint me as well, but they haven't been worth a hoot since Seinfeld, and before that, MASH, was taken off the air.

I look at the 5:00 hour (Entertainment Tonight/Xtra) and keep it on the same channel at 5:30 for the evening news and most days, I can't tell the difference!

Call! CAll! Call! Don't let them get you down!

4. I've come to grips with the reality
That they have taken down the greatest hope for America. The one candidate who was clean, who cares deeply for this country and for the average American. We are all screwed now.

15. Wait, when did Edwards leave the race?
I'm serious, I don't see the attraction to Clark. He's all right, but I haven't heard him say anything since he started running that was particularly compelling or insightful. Seems like the main thing that people love about him is that he is a retired 4-star, so he can stick it to Bush on national security. That's fine, but that doesn't mean we have to act like Clark is JFK reborn.

Does anyone really doubt that if there was a crowded Republican field vying to run against an incumbent Democratic president, Clark wouldn't be running as a Republican and swearing up and down that he's a lifelong Republican? The guy is a Democrat for one reason and one reason only: he wants to be president and this is the ticket. The guy is an opportunist.

I am not sure you are attacking the right thing.
Again, it's the Democrats that make you angry, not the Republicans, right?

14. Bush will be impeached if re-elected.
and at least we will have a chance at some REAL change in 4 years instead of 8+ possible years of the same.

6. I think you are right but its also the media
Neither one of them wanted Clark or Dean, and even though most Democrats did at one time, they told us why we shouldn't want that and we are as spineless as our leaders and fell right in line.

Think of it. The Republicans didn't have to hardly lift a finger.

10. I know how you feel
I don't see any reason for any candidate to drop out yet --- there's still a month left to go in this thing, and it's as if you and your fellow Clark supporters are basically being written off in the first act.

It's as if you're being told you don't matter, except as a demographic to be courted for six months and then taken for granted the next 3 1/2 years. It's bullshit and I'm sorry to see it happen to ANY candidate.

18. I hear you...
But there's still time. I'm from Massachusetts and I don't want Kerry either. The media certainly does. By giving in to your anger, you would be making darth Vader very proud. Channel that anger and turn it into positive energy towards Clark or Dean. They are the real candidates of the people. (well, except for Kucinich and Sharpton, but seriously...)

13. Do you hold the votes of your fellow Democrats in contempt?
I dunno, if Kerry was to get routed, I'd be unhappy, but I'd sure as hell would be lining up with the majority of Democrats and supporting whoever the nominee is to deal with what really matters...kicking out Bush.

By all means support your canddate to whatever end that may be, but I'd hope you'd respect your fellow Democrats right to support their choice as well.

21. Let me see...not when RW bullshit is being posted cuz it suits
the fancy of whatever agenda is popular @ the moment...
No votes have been cast and everyone is buying into the RW bullshit... Since when has Drudge been an acceptable place for Democrats to get their news on our Primaries? When has the National REview been an acceptable place to get the news on Democratic Primaries?

17. Clark is my number 2 man and like Dean they have played
dirty tricks to try to minimize and distract from the message each has. This is just the beginning, with the Rev. Al taking money from repugs to attack the Dem's and holy Joe being a copy of Bush no wonder the electorate are pissed and disillusioned. Let's get a rummer going that the shrub will be stepping down to avoid impeachment by the Conservatives over the budget. Wont work but will get them back on subject instead of this damn ricen joke that has take the 650 bil. deficit for next year and the office of special plans to promote the oil war off the screen.
