Blackwell retains double-digit poll lead over Petro in GOP race for govern
It looks like a wire-to-wire win for J. Kenneth Blackwell in Ohio’s GOP primary for governor.

The secretary of state holds a 12-point lead over Attorney General Jim Petro in the final Dispatch Poll before Tuesday’s election.

Blackwell’s campaign as an outspoken candidate for change — despite the fact his party has held the governor’s office for nearly 16 years — is apparently resonating among Ohio Republicans, more than three quarters of whom now say the state is heading "off on the wrong track."

Skeptics questioned whether Blackwell’s staunch, Bible-quoting conservatism could win him a majority even in a GOP primary. But the poll shows 45 percent of Republicans consider themselves a born-again or evangelical Christian, and Blackwell prevails by 24 points among those voters. He leads by just 2 points among GOP nonevangelicals.

Very dangerous situation here. Blackwell's nomination will likely ensure his election given his control of the voting machines and ties to Bushco.

1. It will be interesting to see what percentage of registered Republicans
vote in the primary compared to other primary elections.

Are there exit polls for primaries?

Anyway, if the number of registered Republicans who vote is significantly less for Blackwell in the primary, it could mean that the blue wave for November is real.

I believe Ted Strickland will be the next governor of the Buckeye State.

3. The Primaries Would Be Even Easier to Rig than the General Elections

Last November, He turned a landslide for US into a landslide for THEM!
This year, he intends to install himself as Ohio's next governor.
